What we collect from this website, why, and what rights you have over it — in plain terms, covering exactly what the site actually does rather than generic boilerplate.

This website (tasc6.net) is operated by TASc6 Ltd ("TASc6", "we", "us"), the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For anything relating to your data, contact us at info@tasc6.net.
We only collect what a specific action on the site requires. Nothing here is collected passively in the background — each of the following only happens if you actually use the corresponding form or checkout.
The Contact Us form opens a message in your own email application, addressed to us — it does not submit your details to our server. Whatever you choose to send (name, company, email, phone number, and your message) only reaches us if you then actually send that email, and from that point it's handled as normal business correspondence, kept for as long as reasonably needed to deal with your enquiry.
The Download Demo and installer pages ask for your full name, email, company, town/city, and country before handing over the installer, and record your IP address alongside that. This is used to know who is evaluating TASc6 and to follow up if you have questions — and, for the IP address specifically, to help prevent abuse of a free trial system. The lawful basis for this is our legitimate interest in understanding trial usage and protecting the trial from abuse, balanced against your rights - you can ask us to erase this at any time (see "Your rights" below).
The Buy or renew a licence page asks for your installation ID, company/licensee name, and email, which we use to create a Stripe Checkout Session and to issue and email your licence key. We never see or store your card, bank account, or Direct Debit details directly — those go straight to Stripe, our payment processor (see "Who we share data with" below). We do keep a record of the licence itself: installation ID, licensee name, email, the Stripe reference for the payment, and the licence's term and expiry, so that a renewal doesn't require asking you for your installation ID again.
This website does not use cookies, analytics, or any advertising or tracking scripts of its own. Nothing is collected about you just for browsing the site.
Once you proceed to actual payment on Buy or renew a licence, you are taken to a checkout page hosted by Stripe on their own domain, which may set its own cookies under their privacy policy - that part of the process is outside our control.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.
Stripe processes data internationally as part of running a global payment platform. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, Stripe does so under its own published safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) - see Stripe's privacy policy for details, as we do not control this ourselves.
We keep licence and payment records for as long as your licence is active, and for 6 years afterwards to meet UK accounting and tax record-keeping requirements. Trial download details are kept for as long as reasonably useful for following up on an evaluation, and deleted or anonymised on request. You can ask us to delete any of this sooner - see "Your rights" below for when that applies.

TASc6 is a business product for distribution and logistics operations. This website is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
If how we collect or use data changes, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. For anything material, we'd expect to also let existing customers know directly.
